The Skyroam Solis X is a workhorse international hotspot that offers unlimited LTE data at an affordable price. Fortunately, a USB-A adapter is included, and Skyroam offers a $13 multi-connector cable that supports USB-C and Lightning connections. That said, the USB-C charging port is frustrating, as it has a small ridge that makes it difficult to plug in many USB-C charging cables. Daylight test photos looked flat and showed background blurring, while low-light photos were muddy and filled with noise around the edges.
